Lima Major 2023: 4 more teams confirmed

The 4 participants of the next Major in Peru were determined based on the results of the previous DPC Game Day. At the moment 9 participants are known.

In Eastern Europe, Team Spirit and BB Team share the first place with 6-0 stats. The teams will play against each other on January 29th, but regardless of the result, both clubs will be part of the Major. The winner of Division I will receive 300 DPC points, while the runner-up will receive 180 points.

In South America, beastcoast and Evil Geniuses are tied at 6-0. As in Eastern Europe, there will be a match between the top two teams in the region on January 29th, but this will only have an impact on the DPC point distribution.

This means that Team Liquid, Team Aster, Shopify Rebellion, TSM, Execration, Team Spirit, BB Team, beastcoast, and Evil Geniuses are half of the 18 participants in The Lima Major 2023. The Major in Peru, with a prize pool of $500,000, will take place from February 22nd to March 5th.
