Gambit Part Ways with their Second Dota 2 Roster

The Russian organization Gambit Esports has parted ways with their second Dota 2 roster, just a month after disbanding their other roster. However, the members of the roster will continue competing together.

The roster was formed last November and consists of Alexey "Smiling Knight" Sviridov, Maksym "mellojul" Pnev, Vasilii "AfterLife" Shishkin, Oleg "sayuw" Kalenbet, Nikita "Pantomem" Balaganin, and is coached by Timur "Ahilles" Kulmuhambetov.

Earlier this year the team competed in the second division of the Eastern European Dota Pro Circuit, placing 5th in the first tour and 1st in the second one. Thus, the team managed to advance to the first division of the third tour. Besides that, the team received silver medals in the 9th and 10th seasons of Dota 2 Champions League.

Now the team will compete under the One Move tag. Their offlaner AfterLife revealed that the players and the coaching staff will stick together and the team is currently forms a pool of partners.

In recent months Gambit Esports has been struggling with sanctions from tournament organizers for their apparent ties with the Russian government. As a results, the club decided to sell their successful CS:GO roster to Cloud9 and disbanded their AS Monaco Gambit Dota 2 roster. Now the organization has rosters in APEX and VALORANT only.
