Gambit Esports have announced their roster for the upcoming second season of Dota 2 Champions League 2021. The team has benched Kiyalbek "dream" Tayirov and parted ways with Albert "eine" Garaev, whose contract with the organization is over.
To complete their roster for the upcoming D2CL, the team brought in Kamil "Koma" Biktimirov (earlier known as aggressive child) and Sergei "G" Bragin. 18-years-old Koma earlier played with Gleb "Funn1k" Lipatnikov and Nikola "LeBronDota" Popović in Spider Pigzs, with whom he placed 5th – 6th in the Western European qualifier for The International 10. Meanwhile 29-years-old G has been playing for EXTREMUM since late 2019. Recently his team finished 9th – 12th in the Eastern European TI10 qualifier.
AS Monaco Gambit is one of five revealed participants of D2CL 2 – the others are PuckChamp, Winstrike Team, Team Unique and Nemiga Gaming. Another four invited teams will be revealed later, while the last participant of the tournament will be determined through an open qualifier. The event will be played on July 19th – August 8th and will feature a $50,000 prize pool.
