The Brazilian team FURIA Esports has become the champions of Elisa Invitational Summer 2021. In the grand finals they outplayed the Bulgarian squad SKADE with a 2-1 score, claiming $50,000 in prize money.
FURIA was one of the two teams invited directly to the tournament’s quarterfinals, alongside with the German squad BIG. While the Germans lost their very first series to SKADE (1-2), FURIA managed to win 777 Esports (2-0) and Endpoint (2-1). In the grand finals FURIA lost their pick Inferno (4:16), however emerged victorious at Overpass (19:15) and Mirage (16:2).

Elisa Invitational Summer 2021 was played online from May 6th to July 4th, featuring 26 teams competing in three stages for a $100,000 prize pool. Next event for FURIA is IEM Cologne 2021, which begins tomorrow. The team’s first match is scheduled for July 8th.
