FaZe Clan have become the winners of IEM Katowice 2022 following their defeat of G2 Esports. Thus, the team claimed $400,000 in prize money. This is their second victory this year – earlier this month they also emerged victorious at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022.
FaZe started the event in the Play-In stage and qualified for playoffs from the second place in Group B after losing to NAVI (1-2). In the elimination stage they managed to not lose a single map – they defeated 2-0 Gambit in quarterfinals and Heroic in semifinals. In the grand finals against G2 they emerged victorious at Inferno (19:15), Mirage (31:27) and Dust II (16:14).

Intel Extreme Masters XVI was played in Katowice, Poland from February 15th to 27th, featuring 24 teams competing for a $1,000,000 prize pool. The playoffs stage was played at Spodek Arena with live audience. The results are following:
