All North American Teams Eliminated from BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022

All North American teams have been eliminated from BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022 following the first round of its Play-In stage. There, Complexity were defeated by MIBR (0-2), Liquid lost to NAVI (0-2), while EG were outplayed by BIG (1-2).

All of the defeated teams have significantly changed their rosters during the transfer period. They finished last at the event and claimed $5,666 each. Now they will compete at BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2022, where they will fight for the last invite to the seasonal final. The event is scheduled for April 20 – 24th and will also feature a $135,000 prize pool.

Today the event will feature three semifinals – first, Vitality will take on MIBR (12:00 PM UK time), then NIP will face NAVI (3:30 PM), and finally Astralis will compete with BIG (5:30 PM). Tomorrow the winners of these series will face G2, OG and FaZe respectively.

BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022 is an online event with a $177,500 prize pool. However, most teams compete there for the eight invites to the seasonal finale with $425,000 at stake.
